About Us
Allow us to introduce ourselves, Nathan and Kathleen.
Hello! We are Nathan and Kathleen Williams, and we would love to introduce you to our family business. We have a daughter, Ireland, and a son, Declan. We established our company in 2010 when we took over the accounts left by Nathan’s mother after Steve, his stepfather, passed away.
Steve operated a pool service business where Nathan helped out from time to time, learning all aspects of the company, from estimating a new service to repairing a motor.
Establishing Armadillo Pools
When we established Armadillo Pools, Nathan dove into any training available and worked to get his California State Contractors’ License, among other certifications, and continues to attend training classes and trade show seminars.

What’s in a name
No, we are not from Texas. When deciding on a name for our business, we thought of our passions. With a deep love of animals, we brainstormed various animals. Then our daughter, three years old at the time, suggested Armadillo. It has nothing to do with the business but has a nice ring, and they sure are cute. Pools refers to the ownership we take in caring for a pool we service. Your pool is our pool.
